About Course
Ministry is loud. Expectations are loud. Fear is loud.
The Shepherd’s Compass is a private, faith-grounded learning experience built specifically for pastors and ministry leaders — the people who carry decisions they can’t share with their board, their staff, or their congregation.
This course introduces the Still Small Voice discernment process — a structured, confidential five-step framework that helps faith leaders slow down, bring Scripture and conscience back into the same conversation, and walk forward with clarity, integrity, and peace.
Not a Bible app. Not a sermon generator. A compass for the moments when you need to find your way back to what is true, what is loving, and what is faithful.
What you’ll learn: How to use AI as a trusted thinking partner grounded in your calling, your values, and God’s Word — without replacing the Holy Spirit, Scripture, or human community.
Who this is for: Pastors, ministry leaders, campus leaders, and faith-based professionals who are ready to lead themselves as well as they lead others.
“You’ve carried other people’s secrets for a long time. This might be the first space where you can finally tell the truth about your own.”
Dr. Deborah Starczewski, D.Th. is an author, evangelist, and Bible teacher who has spent decades helping people move from pain to purpose and into their God-given destiny. Founder of Star Ministries, Inc. and Star National Outreach Worldwide, she brings a strong prophetic gift, deep theological grounding, and a down-to-earth clarity to everything she teaches. Her framework — that unexamined pain drives behavior until it is brought into the light — is woven throughout this course. She is the author of four books including God’s Priceless Treasure and A Leap of Faith.
John Lennox, D.Phil. is an Oxford mathematician, philosopher of science, and Christian apologist whose work on the intersection of faith, ethics, and technology grounds the course’s approach to AI as a tool in service of conscience — not a replacement for it. His argument that Christians should be at the leading edge of technology, always with ethics showing the way, is the theological foundation for why a pastor should have a Shepherd’s Counsel at all.
